Wrap (similar) + Shoes - New Look / Pants - BoohooPlus (sold) / Blouse - c/o Carmakoma

Wherever you look you see wraps, capes, ponchos and blankets. They have never been so on trend as now.. well at least as far as I can remember. There are of course labels which offer these kind of items every season, not out of a fashionable reason but rather because their regular costumers like to buy them. To be honest, I always thought these kind of wraps and blankets are pretty old fashioned and I wouldn’t have liked to wear them before. But this season they appear to be so much more fashionable and interesting. The wraps are extra long and have fringes or tassels at the edges. They are not only created in a classical beige colour but also in casual check patterns in various colours and also in aztec patterns, which are my personal favorites.
In fact these blankets and wraps are pretty versatile and are a beautiful alternative to light autumn-jackets. You will also see on my pictures that I have worn my wrap in different ways. One time hanging loose off of my shoulders, one time draped nonchalantly around my shoulders and one time fixed with a small belt around my waist. There are really no limits in styling these wraps and when it does get colder outside you can easily wear it above a biker jacket, which looks really dope in my opinion. Why don’t you just try it and have fun experimenting. Just never be afraid of wearing these beauties because you are afraid that they might not be flattering enough. Believe me, they will make you look super cool, casual and trendy… plus, who cares anyway if they are flattering as long as you feel beautiful!
I have linked some of my favorite wraps and blankets at the bottom for your inspiration ;)
